Located in the southwest section of (Kenmore) Akron, Ohio, City Scrap & Salvage recycles a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous, electronic and automotive metals. This includes sheet iron, aluminum, copper, stainless, whole cars and automotive parts, appliances, hardware, batteries and much more. In addition, we offer convenient industrial container pickup service.

We have made some changes to our normal procedures in response to COVID-19 in order to keep everyone safe!
1. Please wear a mask or face covering
2. Maintain 6 ft. distance from others at all times
3. Observe and follow painted ground markings
4. Only 1 person permitted in the lobby at a time
5. Customers with multiple loads will be combined into one
payment per day.

8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Examples of items City Scrap does NOT accept include:
- paint cans
- oxygen, propane, fuel tanks or other containers under pressure
- sealed containers
- tires
- kegs
- whole torque converters
- non-metallics (e.g. cardboard, plastic, glass and wood)
